After conquering the Sanremo Rock Festival, the Sanremo CMF and the Italian Urban Charts, Gionathan debuts with his solo album “Anima Libera”.
The album was completely written and produced by the Turin multitalented artist. Released by the Swiss label profimusic, “Anima Libera” is available with 13 packed, groovy songs in digital form, on CD and in limited edition also on vinyl.
The album is an eclectic musical journey that moves through funk, soulful melodies, rap and modern urban sound. This results in Gionathan’s signature unique style.
The voice of Gionathan, which is compared by many to Alex Baroni and to that of Neffa because of its style and lightness, shows many nuances on this album. From the soft and sensual atmospheres of “Good Premonition” and “Dimmi di no” to the cheeky and sarcastic irony of “Corro e basta” and “Friendzone” and from the melancholic romanticism of ballads like “Niente di strano” and “A tempo su di noi”, to the cheerfulness and light-heartedness of “Stanotte”, “Caduta libera” and “I Feel the Groove”.
“Anima Libera” contains on the one hand autobiographical songs, but also cinematic narratives, in which Gionathan reveals a lot about himself and catapults the listener directly into stories and situations.
An album that arrives directly and immediately and represents Gionathan’s personality in a creative way. Even more so, since Gionathan from writing, recording, mixing to the implementation of the music videos, each made the implementation.

Nach der Eroberung des Sanremo Rock Festival, des Sanremo CMF und der italienischen Urban Charts, debütiert Gionathan mit seinem Soloalbum “Anima Libera”.
Das Album wurde vom Turiner Multitalent komplett selber geschrieben und produziert. Veröffentlicht wird “Anima Libera” vom Schweizer Label profimusic und ist mit 13 gefüllvollen, groovigen Songs in digitaler Form, auf CD und in limitierter Auflage auch als Vinyl erhältlich.
Das Album ist eine eklektische musikalische Reise, die sich durch Funk, gefühlvolle Melodien, Rap und modernen urbanen Sound bewegt. Daraus ergibt sich der typische, einzigartige Stil von Gionathan.
Die Stimme von Gionathan, welche von vielen mit Alex Baroni und wegen ihres Stils und ihrer Leichtigkeit mit der von Neffa verglichen wird, zeigt auf diesem Album viele Nuancen. Von den sanften und sinnlichen Atmosphären von “Good Premonition” und “Dimmi di no” bis hin zu der frechen und sarkastischen Ironie von “Corro e basta” und “Friendzone” und von der melancholischen Romantik von Balladen wie “Niente di strano” und “A tempo su di noi”, bis hin zur Fröhlichkeit und Unbeschwertheit von “Stanotte”, “Caduta libera” und “I Feel the Groove”.
“Anima Libera” enhält einerseits autobiographische Songs, aber auch filmische Erzählungen, in welchen Gionathan viel von sich selbst preisgibt und den Hörer direkt in Geschichten und Situationen katapultiert.
Ein Album, welches direkt und unmittelbar ankommt und Gionathans Persönlichkeit auf kreative Weise repräsentiert. Umso mehr, da Gionathan vom Schreiben, der Aufnahme, Abmischung bis hin zur Umsetzung der Musikvideos, jeweils die Umsetzung machte.

Dopo un trascorso artistico che l’ha portato a conquistare il Sanremo Rock Festival, il Sanremo CMF e le classifiche urban italiane, Gionathan debutta oggi con il suo album solista “Anima Libera”.
Scritto e prodotto dal cantante torinese ed edito dall’elvetica profimusic, il disco esce in digitale, cd e vinile (edizione limitata) il disco contiene 13 tracce piene di groove e di sentimento.
Un percorso musicale eclettico che si snoda attraverso ritmi funk declinati in chiave moderna, melodie cariche di soul, strofe rap e moderne produzioni urban, con una mescolanza continua di influenze e stili che sono caratteristica del suono e dell’identità musicale unica di Gionathan.
La sua voce, accostata da molti a quella di Alex Baroni per il timbro e l’estensione e a quella di Neffa per lo stile e la leggerezza, mostra in questo album molte delle sfumature di cui è capace, passando dalle atmosfere morbide e sensuali di “Good Premonition” e “Dimmi di no” alla sfacciata e sarcastica ironia di “Corro e basta” e “Friendzone”, dal romanticismo malinconico di ballad come “Niente di strano” e “A tempo su di noi” fino ad arrivare all’allegria e alla spensieratezza di “Stanotte”, “Caduta libera” e “I Feel the Groove”.
Ciò che non manca mai in questo album, sono ritmo e vibrazioni positive, una costante delle canzoni di Gionathan, che con la sua scrittura sembra volerci ricordare quanto bella, nonostante tutto, la vita possa essere se affrontata con il giusto spirito.
“Anima Libera” è un LP a metà strada tra l’autobiografico e il racconto filmico, nel quale il cantautore si mette a nudo raccontando sè stesso e catapultando l’ascoltatore direttamente dentro storie e situazioni grazie ai suoi testi carichi di immagini visive.
Un disco che arriva diretto, immediato, un disco che rappresenta la personalità di Gionathan in maniera molto netta e che, non ha caso, l’artista ha scelto di curare integralmente, dalla scrittura alla registrazione, dal mixaggio alla realizzazione videoclip.
