The folk-pop duo PepperDreams was born in 2017 in a remote valley in the South of Switzerland. The duo Mattia Beffa and Susanna Lepori share a common love for roots music. Their sound is the result of folk roots combined with melodies of modern pop. Mattia Beffa and Susanna Lepori write all their songs themselves and tell stories full of emotion. Together with their production team Jonas Macullo and Andrea Cosentino, they create folk-pop songs with a touching intimacy and great attitude.
The first single ON MY OWN was created in a time of big changes in Mattia Baffa’s life. He decided to move to Zurich to study music and pursue his dreams. He left his home country and he became aware that in many situations in life he can often only rely on himself. Many people are afraid to pursue their dreams because sometimes this means giving up a stable and secure situation. The goal of a journey is not always clear and defined, but it is certainly a motivating path that allows us to grow and discover ourselves. Sometimes the decisions we make are not supported or acknowledged, but they are great opportunities that life offers us. This is what the song “On My Own” by PepperDreams is about.

Die erste Single ON MY OWN entstand in einer Zeit grosser Veränderungen im Leben von Mattia Baffa. Er entschloss sich nach Zürich zu ziehen, um Musik zu studieren und seinen Träumen nachzugehen. Er verliess seine Heimat und ihm wurde bewusst, dass in vielen Situationen des Lebens oft nur auf sich selber verlass ist. Viele Menschen haben Angst ihren Träumen nachzugehen, weil dies manchmal bedeutet, dass man eine stabile und sichere Situation aufgeben muss. Nicht immer ist das Ziel einer Reise klar und definiert, aber es ist sicherlich ein motivierender Weg, der es uns ermöglicht, zu wachsen und uns selbst zu entdecken. Manchmal werden die Entscheidungen, die wir treffen, nicht unterstützt oder anerkannt, aber sie sind grosse Chancen, die uns das Leben bietet. Um dies geht es im Song “On My Own” von PepperDreams.

Il primo singolo ON MY OWN è nato in un periodo di cambiamento importante nella vita di Mattia Beffa, quando si è trasferito a Zurigo per studiare musica e inseguire i suoi sogni. Allontanandosi dal luogo in cui è cresciuto, si è reso conto che in alcune situazioni nella vita, spesso può contare solo su se stesso. Molte persone hanno paura di seguire le loro passioni perché a volte significa rinunciare ad una situazione stabile e sicura. Non sempre la destinazione del viaggio da intrapprendere é limpida e definita, ma é sicuramente un percorso motivante che ci permette di crescere e scoprire noi stessi.
