In the background the worldwide hit “Prayer in C” by Robin Schulz boomed out of the speakers. “I felt at this moment, how my song is an answer for the hopeless message of this song. In general, people lose hope and give up through all the daily job’s news.”
The song “Take Your Time” raises the listener to bird’s eye view of the history of men. The message is an answer from heaven to not lose hope. “Take a break and allow yourself and others to not be perfect. I believe that God wants to strengthen us and to give us a different view of the events of the world” says the musician from Zofingen who is full-time active in youth work.
The hopeful song “Take Your Time” was written by daFOO himself and was produced by Daniel Volpe. The mixing and mastering were made by Dan Suter (Echochamber).

Auf dem Badetuch liegend genoss daFOO in der Badi die Sonne, sinnierte über seinen in Bearbeitung befindlichen Song „Take Your Time“ nach und in diesem Moment dröhnte der weltweite Hit „Prayer in C“ von Robin Schulz aus den Lautsprechern. Dazu daFOO: „Ich verspührte in diesem Moment wie mein Song eine Antwort auf die hoffnungslose Message dieses Songs ist. Generell durch die vielen täglichen Hiobsbotschaften droht eine Entmutigung und geben viele Menschen auf.“
Der Song „Take Your Time“ nimmt den Hörer in die Vogelperspektive der Menschheitsgeschichte und ist eine himmlische Antwort den Mut nicht zu verlieren. „Mach mal Pause und erlaube dir und den anderen, dass nicht immer alles perfekt sein muss. Ich glaube Gott möchte uns in diesen Pausen stärken und eine andere Sicht auf die Ereignisse dieser Welt geben,“ sagt der hauptberuflich in der kirchlichen Jugendarbeit tätige Zofinger.

Le molte brutte notizie quotidiane provocano uno scoraggiamento generale e tante persone si arrendono”.
La canzone “Take Your Time” porta l’ascoltatore nella prospettiva di un uccello in volo della storia umana ed è una risposta celestiale che incoraggia a non perdere la speranza. “Prendetevi una pausa e concedete a voi stessi e agli altri che non tutto deve essere perfetto. Credo che Dio voglia rafforzarci durante queste pause e darci una visione diversa degli eventi di questo mondo”, dice daFOO di Zofingen, attivo a tempo pieno come animatore giovanile della sua chiesa.
